[syslog-ng] syslog-n 1.6.8 crash and backtrace on FreeBSD 4.10

FWIW, I recently installed for testing stuff syslog-ng on my notebook, 
running 4.11-stable from March 15.

         libc.so.4 => /usr/lib/libc.so.4 (0x2807b000)

Whats with your version of syslog-ng, what are the dynamic dependencies?
