FWIW, I recently installed for testing stuff syslog-ng on my notebook, 
running 4.11-stable from March 15.

libol-0.3.15
syslog-ng-1.6.6

>ldd `which syslog-ng`
/usr/local/sbin/syslog-ng:
         libc.so.4 => /usr/lib/libc.so.4 (0x2807b000)


Whats with your version of syslog-ng, what are the dynamic dependencies?
