Allow me to clarify on the corrupt event log we experienced.
Specifically, the Windows server in question had it's event log
corrupted. When Event Reporter tried to read it, it would die and
restart and try to send the same logs again.
The symptoms were immediately obvious because when looking at the
event log in Windows, it kept giving popup messages that the event log
was corrupt and would quit. Trying to sort the messages would trigger
it every time.
The fix was to remove and recreate the Windows event log, and then
Event Reporter resumed its normal behavior.
