there's no magic number, it simply the fact that the algorithm
dispatching the log messages is not the best. However the small
difference between the numbers suggest that you might have a CPU
intensive regular expression enabled in one of your config and disabled
in the other.

try to be as specific in your regular expressions as possible, doing
lots of '.*' is very bad from the performance perspective.
