I'm awfully sorry for my long absence. I know, I promised to do more testing on 
the release candidates but it was simply not possible. My employer wanted me to 
work on completely different things as syslog-ng 1.6.0rc1 worked perfectly in 
our setups and tests.

I hope that the release goes well and that I will be able to provide you with 
more tests in the near future.
