DESCRIPTION:

  A new stable version of syslog-ng Premium Edition (5 LTS (5.0.3)) has been
  released. For latest fixes in the 5.0.x branch you are recommended to
  upgrade to this version.

NOTE FOR USERS OF THE AGENT FOR WINDOWS:

  Starting with version 5 LTS we will be releasing maintainance releases of
  the Agent for Windows together with our regular maintainance releases. The
  changelog will always contain a list of bugfixes in all components,
  including the Agent.

  Fixed bugs:

      #30307 Windows agent stops reading input after an invalid byte
             sequence
      #30962 %SYSTEMROOT% environment variable is not resolved in
             XML-configurations
      #31072 complex and long messages can cause syslog-ng to crash
      #31101 multiple clients using the same session_id in RLTP
             could cause unclosed connections to linger on the
             server side
      #31105 conditional rewrite included in multiple logpaths could
             cause syslog-ng to crash during reload
      #31115 MARK messages can be duplicated in the Windows Agent if
             internal messages are written to the eventlog
      #31131 closed connections on Windows leak socket handles
      #31163 reading from a wildcard file source not working
             properly on AIX
      #31174 relative symlinks in wildcard sources caused syslog-ng
             to crash
