DESCRIPTION:

  A new stable version of syslog-ng Premium Edition (5 LTS (5.0.4)) has been
  released. For latest fixes in the 5.0.x branch you are recommended to
  upgrade to this version.

    Fixed bugs:

        #31194 center entries not increasing in syslog-ng-ctl stats
        #31216 partial acknowledgement of RLTP blocks is never sent by
               the receiver

    FIPS 140-2 compliant version:

        Starting with the 5.0.4 release, we are offering a version of
        syslog-ng Premium Edition to customers that is built and shipped
        with the OpenSSL FIPS Object Module and as thus usable in environments
        where FIPS 140-2 compliant cryptography is required. This is a
        separate version and the original version is available that uses
        the standard OpenSSL library. For more details, see
