DESCRIPTION:

  A new stable version of syslog-ng Open Source Edition (3.3.11) has been
  released. For latest fixes in the 3.3.x feature branch you are recommended to
  upgrade to this version.

        Highlights
        ==========
        This release is a bug-fix release, correcting a handful of
        issues discovered since the previous one.

        Bugfixes
        ========

        * Most of the changes in 3.3.10 have been reverted, as they
          resulted in instability and dead locks.
        * The configure files were updated to work with the newest
          automake, and not use long obsolete macros.
        * Zero-length templates (or template functions with
          zero-length output) do not result in an infinite loop
          anymore.
        * The $(if) and $(grep) template functions now respect the
          template_escape() setting.

        syslog-ng is developed as a community project, and as such it
        relies on volunteers to do the work necessarily to produce
        syslog-ng.
