After doing much effort and using different options , I am still unable to get through tproxy. I have FC4, FC8. Please advice ma which one shuld I use. In addition to please also tell me the patches and other software versions I should use. I am much confused about the versions and may be that the problem I am unable to get through the tproxy. If any one has already configured it then plz share experience with me Thanks
I have had troubles as well for several weeks, then was able to get many of the parts working, and I am now in a final testing stage. I am using CentOS 5.2 x86_64. If you want to switch to using CentOS 5.2 (or 5.1, doesn't matter if it is the 64bit version or not,) I can help you through it. I can't promise anything though. Once my testing is complete, I was going to write a HOWTO. I used the cttproxy patches from the obsolete directory at Balabit, and a 2.6.18 kernel that is custom compiled. You will need to be able and willing to custom compile a kernel. ________________________________ From: tproxy-bounces@lists.balabit.hu [mailto:tproxy-bounces@lists.balabit.hu] On Behalf Of Munawar Zeeshan (zmunawar) Sent: Tuesday, July 15, 2008 7:21 AM To: tproxy@lists.balabit.hu Subject: [tproxy] TProxy installation After doing much effort and using different options , I am still unable to get through tproxy. People just ignore this rule :- Rule no 1 of using 'tproxy': match your kernel version. Ghee I sound like a grandmother now !
