I have installed squid server 2.6.18 in transparent mode on fedora core 4 before but now I want to install tproxy mode and test it's capabilities for using later. Is installation similar to transparent installation? If no can any one explain that briefly?

Hello,
Which proxy server you are trying to install?

If you could not find any package, build it from source code.
