#Hello,<br>#I&#39;m trying to configure syslog-ng to log messages from local0 into a<br>#directory under the /usr tree.<br>#I&#39;m sure that my configuration is correct, but the syslog-ng cannot<br>#write the file.<br>#When I switch to logging in /var tree, it works.

<br>#(+55) 3186-8676<br clear="all"><br>I haven&#39;t tried doing that but I guess it would work well as long as you create the destination facility for that directory and the daemon user has the correct permissions on the file.
