Anyway, if openwrt supports it, that may be an option.

There are no such options for the WNR1000v2; I think that the manual you referenced is for a different router.

I don't think there's an option to use with syslog-ng for the WNR1000v2. Was more asking whether there's a work-around.  In all seriousness, thanks for taking the time to look.

I don't see any option in the configuration for using syslog.  Is there a
work-around?  The only way to grab logs is to either copy/paste or e-mail
-- but the e-mail uses port 25, which is blocked.
