These tests which are in the "syslog-ng-ose/tests" directory are run every time when we release a new version.

For example, PE supports disk buffering, wildcard in file name, sending logs from a windows host and so on.

Appreciate your reply. I do see some tests in the syslog-ng source and wanted to find out if there is any other test suite that is run against the builds. Since there is a paid version and an open source version, I wanted to find out what benefit I get by going to the paid version.

I am sorry, but I don't really understand you. Nevertheless, I am trying to answer you.
First of all, what kind of tests have you thought? Of course, we have tested the syslog protocol of the syslog-ng and it worked. If you have any question about this protocol, or found a bug, don't hesitate to tell us it.
