Hi,

I have cced the rpm maintainer. Honestly I dont know, it only seems to conflict on a logrotate file, and obviously if the two configurations are done properly, both syslog-ng and rsyslog can run on the same machine.

However the rpm is made with a number of assumptions. But I will let Peter to explain :)

I can’t remove rsyslog from the system as other people us it.  What is the best way to resolve this issue?
