Hi,

it's working now but they changed the Release.key, so if you got an error message like this:
Err:15 http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/laszlo_budai:/syslog-ng/xUbuntu_16.04 ./ Release.gpg
  The following signatures were invalid: KEYEXPIRED 1503496621

just download and install the latest Release.key:
curl -4 http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/laszlo_budai:/syslog-ng/xUbuntu_16.04/Release.key | sudo apt-key add -
(please note that the Release.key file per Ubuntu version)

then apt-get update should work.

this is my personal project and the repository is hosted by OBS (build.opensuse.org).

I do not have any influence on build.opensuse.org.

You can mirror the repository, of course but OBS is not only an APT repository: it is also a build service.

AFAIK OBS can be installed(and hosted) by anyone: if you setup a build service, you can also use the Debian source files to build packages inside your build service.
