Thanks for the response

Currently Have the Syslog-ng 2.0.5 OSE version used for logging.
Want to test the new version but cannot put on different server for testing and development.

Why would you want to do that?

Nevertheless, the answer is yes - if properly configured. You will need
to install modules in different directories, and you will need to use
separate syslog-ng.confs. Unless you are using systemd, you will need to
set up one syslog-ng to handle /dev/log, and if need be, forward it to
the other.
