Really appreciate your fast response.

Firstly i removed the rsyslog and syslog rpm from the machine and then have installed the suggested syslog-ng RPMs, i am getting the warning messages, please could see once and advice.

Do i need to install the syslog before syslog-ng(am using Centos 5.9 64bit OS).

No, version 2.1 does not support AMQP. There are syslog-ng 3.6 and 3.7
packages for EL6 on Copr, which supports AMQP:

There are some CentOS 5 RPMs for syslog-ng 3.6, but I don't know if it

create EL5 packages in Copr based on it, with as many features enabled
as possible, but I have no time frame for it.
