Release date of syslog-ng Premium Edition 4.0: 2011Q1 ----------------------------------------------------- The current roadmap on syslog-ng Premium Edition listed the next stable release (v4.0) for Q4 2010. In order to satisfy customer requests, we will include further features in syslog-ng Premium Edition 4.0, therefore decided to extend the timeframe of the project until 31th January, 2011. In addition to the new features already listed on the roadmap, syslog-ng Premium Edition 4.0 will also: * support the Solaris 8, 9 and 10 operating systems on sparc64 * offer significant performance improvements in the SQL destination by using explicit commits, instead of committing every INSERT statement automatically.
