CHANGES: Core: * The mapping of event types to event severity levels handled certain event types incorrectly on the Windows Vista and Windows 2008 platforms, causing problems when filtering on the severity level of the messages. This has been corrected. * Certain event log parameters were not processed properly on the Windows 2003 platform. This has been corrected. * The syslog-ng Agent terminated unexpectedly in some situations when it was started manually from the Windows Services control panel. This has been corrected. HOW TO UPGRADE * When upgrading a machine running version 3.0.3 or later in standalone mode,run the .exe installer and verify that the displayed information is correct. * When upgrading a machine running version 3.0.3 or later in domain mode, follow the steps described in section 'Installing the syslog-ng agent on the hosts of a domain' of the documentation. The system will automatically recognize that the new package will update the syslog-ng Agent for Windows version 3.0.5 package.
