I have a number of Windows clients sending logs back to a central log server running RHEL 5.5. The Linux clients each create a directory for their logs using their respective hostnames as the name of the directory. The Windows clients,
however, are using their IP addresses to name their respective directories. The hostnames and IP’s are resolving correctly (tested via nslookup and ping) and, from what I can tell, the config files seem to be correct. Is there anything I can double-check
or test that might help resolve this issue? I am using version 4.0.1 on the Windows clients and they are running Server 2008R2.
