but that's to be expected in a beta. End errors while using gmake
with 3.3.0beta2 were as follows (Mainly for anyone that's interested)</font>

I believe you will need GNU make (usually called gmake) to compile<br>
syslog-ng. The make that comes with AIX isn't supported by the build<br>
system, as far as I remember.<br>
