<p class=MsoNormal>I have been trying to install syslog-ng open source on
Solaris since quite sometime and now I am almost giving up. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>After installing I would have presumed to have
/etc/init.d/syslog-ng file created but it wasn’t. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>Also now I am not able to do “make” to syslog-ng
, observing the following error. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal>Can anyone help me why this is happening? <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>Is it related to PATH / PKG_CONFIG_PATH or something ?
