dependency upon, like eventlog. </FONT></SPAN></DIV>

which i obtained from Red Hat Advanced Server 3 installation

onto my machine and installed via RPM. You may get a conflict if another Glib
version is installed that doesnt contain the library libglib-2.0.a but i just
removed the older version first and then installed gli2-devel which worked for
me once i complied syslog-ng again. </FONT></SPAN></DIV>
